Beetroot Juice with Orange and Pineapple

Ingredients
Beetroots – 2 medium sized
Oranges – 2
Fresh pineapple – 1 small
Lemon Juice – of ½ lemon
Mint – 1 small sprig

Method
Peel the beetroot, and the oranges. Peel and core the pineapple.
Cut all the above into chunks, then add the lemon juice, and place in the blender.
Blend for 45 seconds or until smooth.
Strain and serve, garnished with mint.

 

Beetroot Juice with Apples and Ginger

Ingredients
Beetroots – 2 medium sized
Lemon juice – of 1 lemon
Apples – 3
Root ginger – 2 inches, peeled and sliced.

Method
Peel the beetroot, then wash well along with the apples and lemon.
Cut all the above into thick chunks, and add the ginger.
Blend for 45 seconds or until completely smooth, add water if needed to adjust the consistency.
Add the lemon juice and blend again.
Strain if necessary and serve chilled.

 

Beetroot Juice with Carrots and Celery

Ingredients
Beetroots – 2 medium sized
Carrots – 2
Lemon juice – of 1 lemon
Celery – 3 stalks
Pinch of salt (optional)

Method
Peel and wash the carrots, and the beets, then cut them into medium sized chunks.
Place in the blender along with the lemon juice and salt, if using, then break the celery stalks into smaller pieces and add to the mixture.
Blend for 45 seconds until smooth.
Serve chilled.
