WHEN COPING BECOMES YOUR NORMAL

Do any of these
feel familiar?

You might look as though you're managing. Inside, it can feel very different. When pressure becomes familiar, it's easy to forget what feeling more at ease could be like.

01

A mind that won't switch off

Replaying conversations, running through tomorrow's tasks or struggling to feel present.

02

Reacting, then regretting it

A small comment becomes a big reaction. Afterwards, you wish you'd handled it differently.

03

Always feeling on alert

Finding it hard to relax, even when there is nothing urgent you need to do.

04

Making decisions from pressure

Saying yes too quickly, putting things off or choosing whatever gets you through the moment.

05

Holding everything together

Being the person others rely on, while your own needs keep slipping to the bottom of the list.

06

Knowing stress is costing you

Less patience. Less enjoyment. Less energy for the people and things that matter to you.

Give yourself a little forgiveness.

You don't have to work this out alone.

UNDERSTANDING. PRACTICE. CHOICE.

Learn to work with stress.
And respond differently.

Eight weeks with Justin, in a group of no more than 12. Explore what drives your stress and build practical skills you can bring into everyday life.

Understand your physiology

Explore your body's stress response, the role of your nervous system and how to notice your own early signals of tension and overwhelm.

Discover breathwork

Practise gentle, guided breathing and explore how your breath can become a useful point of focus when you feel under pressure.

Make sense of your emotions

Recognise what you're feeling, explore what sits beneath a reaction and learn to meet emotions with curiosity rather than judgement.

Explore stimulus and response

Notice what sets you off, recognise your automatic patterns and practise creating a pause before deciding what to do next.

Build tools to manage stress

Develop a personal toolkit of grounding, reflection and everyday habits, so you have something practical to return to when life feels demanding.

Make clearer, more considered decisions

Explore how pressure influences your choices. Practise stepping back, checking what matters and responding with greater intention.

Recognise the cost of stress

Reflect on what stress is taking from your time, energy, relationships and enjoyment, and where you want to begin making changes.

More understanding of what happens within you.

More choice in what happens next.

S-R: STIMULUS AND RESPONSE

A moment happens.
What happens next?

A message. A criticism. A change of plan. Sometimes the response feels immediate. This course explores how to recognise that moment and practise making room for a more considered response.

01

Notice the stimulus

What happened? What did you notice in your body and emotions?

02

Create a pause

Give yourself a moment to breathe, reflect and consider what you need.

03

Choose your response

What would help now? A boundary, a question, a different action?

The aim is greater awareness and choice, with practice and support. Nobody responds perfectly every time.

THE COST OF STRESS

What is stress
taking from your life?

Perhaps it's the conversation you wish had gone differently. The evening you couldn't enjoy. The decision you made just to relieve the pressure.

Recognising that cost isn't another reason to be hard on yourself. It's a starting point for deciding what you want to reclaim, and the support that could help you do it.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE SUPPORT
